[Everything is built, fixed and ready, and now they've made it back to Luceti. Kratos stays behind the group, seeing people off with a nod, but lingering just in case someone has something to say to him

Hm... For once, I feel I can say with certainty that it's good to be back.

[Red flag right thar.] I shall await your arrival.

I will return momentarily.

[Though, in truth, it's about another half hour before he returns. But after that, there are footsteps heard on the porch before he enters the house. Like with Presea, all that's outwardly wrong is a bit of sand he neglected to notice in his hair. Inwardly, however...]

[Svala's chilling out in his room, since she knows Presea will want to greet him too and she doesn't want to interrupt. She's just sitting at the desk, catching up on journal stuff and trying not to look too hopelessly eager.]

[It takes a few minutes because wtf, he got hugged by someone without their emotions intact. He's making sure that everything's all right with her and that she took care of things, and once she goes off again, Kratos heads to his room, hoping to find Svala there. Lo and behold, his hopes hold out for him.]

... Svala.

[halgitamilf]

[Svala calmly sets down her pen, stands, and heads right to Kratos to wrap him up in a hug. She loves him dearly.]

[Now, a hug from Svala just feels like one of the most natural things now, and certainly very welcome. He wraps his arms around her in return, pulling her in close. He loves (and missed) her dearly.]

[She rests her cheek against his chest and indulges in that for a while; lets some of her soul leak over. She'd been very gentle in her advances to try and get him re-accustomed to the feeling. Soon they'd be back to where they were when she left, when touching souls was as natural as conversation.

Not yet though.]

[Love, joy, a little worry... Kratos runs his fingers through her hair, as if to soothe away the worry, before he opens his eyes.]

Have you been well in my absence?

[halgitamilf]

Very. Presea has watched over me with flattering diligence. [Svala is kind of creeped out that she can't read her soul but eh. You can't win them all.

She reaches up to touch a hand to his cheek.] And you?

[salvationfound]

[Kratos shuts his eyes against the touch. There's no use hiding it, considering she can feel all of the frustrations and anger burning within him. But it's a long lasting habit that's hard to break.]

[Well if it's any consolation, she won't pry too deep or too long. She touches his cheek, frowns, then brushes a hand through his hair to tuck it back. Or tries to. He's quite tall.]

I see. This is most worrying.

[salvationfound]

[She might feel a little sand in his hair when she does that. Kratos lowers his head, as if he's trying to hide himself a little.]

You have heard of the murders within the village? We bore witness to one.

[halgitamilf]

[She does, and brushes it out the best she can. At the news though, she takes his hands and tries to lead him over to the bed to sit down on it.] It has affected you greatly.

[Then it was a friend of his.]

[At first, he doesn't take the invitation. It's like a wound that he hastily bandaged and went on with without giving it treatment, for they had people that were relying on them. And Yuan couldn't do this mission without Kratos there to snap him out of his rut. Kratos isn't so willing to treat that wound now that it seems to be taken care of.

But after some hesitation, he relents and follows her lead. She's always been able to help him heal. He never knows how to repay her, but he knows that he can always share anything with her without a judging eye.]
