If circumstances were impossible to bend, would you still fight against it? If fate was already written for you, how would you change it?

Finally... Would these actions be considered wise or foolish?

There are no circumstances that are impossible to bend. Only those that are more difficult to do so.

It would never seem foolish to change circumstance to be better. Sometimes even actions that seem foolish can yield good results. The only thing that is foolish is to sit back and do nothing.

And if your actions gave no such results for some time? If those around you had already stopped, giving in to the evils around them. Would you join them, or rise above them?

The only thing that would stop me is my own death, or my being the last one still alive. There is little that can be done then.

That may well be what I left in my own world. People exist here, there is hope for change to this world at least.

I may prefer Luceti to my own world, but that doesn't mean I don't think it could be made to be a better place for even those who feel as I do, if that is what you are speaking of as far as impossible circumstances.

Do you sometimes feel that you're the only one who has such thoughts?

I doubt I am the only one who wants to make this place better or prefers it to my home.

I also doubt that I am the only one willing to do something. I think most people may not know what to do, especially among the new arrivals like myself. Most people need someone to guide or direct them. Or someone with the knowledge that they need to form a plan.

But one thing I do know is that it doesn't take much to set things into motion.

I see. The best thing for those like yourself would be to seek out older residents and learn from them. Ask what has and has not been done, hear them out and let them know that their story has been appreciated. I'm sure if the new arrivals formulated something from that, the older ones would feel a new sort of motivation as well.

That has some merit to it. New arrivals can provide a fresh outlook on a problem, and past things that did not work should not be repeated.

Do you have any suggestions? I get the impression you may know a few more people than I do.

And another question, do people use any other forms of communication to contact each other besides these journals?

You may want to ask Raine Sage, for she has taken the time to study this world and make notes of the progress made. Svala, too, has spent a great amount of time researching the village. However, the latter has been kidnapped by the Malnosso. Once she returns, you can ask her.

The journals are the most convenient method, considering their ability to contact others even when they're far away. If you wish to discuss deeper about the world of Luceti... it would be best to meet someone face to face over the matter. Is there a particular reason for your question?

Thank you for the names, I will definitely keep both of them in mind, and contact them when that is possible, well, arrange for a face to face meeting at least.

I admit, I used to be a general in my world, and I also worked for the resistance in my world. I saw how both sides worked, and when there is a great distance, a safe means of communication is necessary. Both groups would very much attempt to find out what the others were up to so it could be stopped. So we did have to make sure the messenger was reliable.

Obviously, it may not be a good idea to discuss over this network what I plan to discuss with these two people, but it could be used to arrange a meeting at least.

So I will keep your words in mind and thank you for the information, Mr. ...oh, it seems I don't know your name yet, and forgot to give mine. I'm Celes Chere.
