[Ignoring all of that. Once he finds him and recognizes his mana signature as well as the very obvious red clothes, he moves to take both of Lloyd's hands and kneel down, head lowered.]

I am not talking about my condition, Lloyd. I'm more concerned for you. All these years, and not once was I the father that you truly deserved. Not once. Words cannot express the remorse I feel.

[He holds up a hand to shush Lloyd since he knows he'll just get a speech. But he hasn't finished his own yet. He stands up slowly.] I vow to change that today. Though it may not make up for so many years of grief... I swear to be a worthy father for you.
