So, uh, bit of a question.
Well, an idea, I suppose. About Inception. On the third level (in the snow), Cobb got Ariadne to tell him about the shortcut through the maze. And that's how Mal dropped out of the ceiling to shoot Fischer, right? And Ariadne hesitated before telling Cobb because she was concerned that something like that might happen. So what if they had skipped Cobb as the middle man? What if he had just been like "Is there a shortcut? Because then you need to tell Saito (I'm not sure; Eames is the one who added the vent/duct system? So it was Saito and Fischer that she told, right?) about it," and then turned around and plugged his ears like "LALALALA" and then... would that have worked out? Just wondering. Ehh... people have probably already thoroughly analyzed this, though, right?
(A friend was talking to me about Avatar today. I suddenly wondered why there was no slash between Sam Worthington and Colonel Quaritch. I mean, insubordinate!Sam Worthington with his cripple!legs seems just a bit too easy to take advantage of, when you're a hulking piece of man-flesh with biceps larger than Sam Worthington's knobby little knees. Eh well. I guess I'd like to see that.)
