Deep in the middle of a story! Trying to finish for tomorrow's reading party. (Like that will happen. But it might!) I have always wanted to write a story in the form of a letter, and here I'm doing it. Terribly exciting! After such a long dry spell, after such a bad spell in other ways, it gives my soul relief to be writing something.
Peter read a section, told me it didn't suck. Then added that his telling me it didn't suck wasn't a lie. Clearly he cannot be trusted.
The caffeine I drank last night is blasting through me, making me feel fevered and menopausal. Simultaneously.
But still! A new story! Guaranteed to offend at least half the party tomorrow! Hurrah!
