Which--since the subject's up--how do you feel about a repeat of Buffy and Faith's potential-training school for the mismatched and maladjusted?

Yeah, I got promises of a working stereo system and a hairdryer. Not quite all up there with getting handed a big ball of magical Slayer powers and set loose.

--'The mismatched and maladjusted?' B, yes or no, that is not getting painted on the sign.

[But there's a short pause as she waffles a little, and when she talks again, it's quiet uncertain!Faith--not shooting down the idea, just uncertain.] I just dunno if I make much of a teacher, y'know? It's always been 'have major case of the bumpies, will face-smash'.

[Sure, I let you get, what? at least a good half of 'em back to you in a decently not-dead kinda way? Yeah, major shoo-in for club president over here.

But she doesn't say that out loud because today? The whole guilt thing just doesn't weigh down as much as it does any other day not today. And besides, Buffy's ideas generally don't err on the side of bad.]

I've had bad hunches before, too. But--look, what matters is that we're two kick-butt Slayers who could do some good here. Especially when it comes to giving a hand to some of the other recruits.

I've been talking with some people. Folks that are also concerned with how utterly isolated everyone is, tactics-wise. We're a lot of solo fighters and we probably won't manage it against an organized army if we're not organized, ourselves.

[She hesitates.] Have you met Cloud? I passed your name onto him. Just in case you were interested.

Briefly. He makes with the public service announcements a lot, so I catch up now and again on those, but we've never really gone in with the talking for long. He up for running a school too?

He mentioned that training'd be good and I mentioned that I knew a girl who I could more or less trust. Especially in my incapacitatedness.
