[Faith's voice starts out a little awkwardly... long's it's been, it's still not all there in her comfort zone to start up a conversation with a blank page of a book. But there's curiosity for you.]Hey, so I know I'm major Hermit Girl when it comes to knowin' what's down and out in town, but all've you been talking it up like New Year's come early

Well that makes two of us. Talk 'bout clueless: population, us.

At least we have each other.

Yeah, that's... yeah.
[another pause] Listen, hey, I'm starving. How's this? You, me, Seventh Heaven, burger and fries?

Oh! She's gonna have to get ready. Like, really ready. Like amazing. Except... understated. All suitable and whatever for like Tifa's whole atmosphere thing. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.]
Wicked. Let's meet up there. Like, twenty minutes or so? I gotta like... fix up some stuff first 'round here then I'm... then I'll be good. That work for you?

[He'll have to prepare, as well. It wouldn't do to show up wearing leather armor, after all.]

[Simon will be waiting at Seventh Heaven, dressed in late-17th Century style nobleman's clothing]

[And Faith will be... not late. So on time. Totally.
...Okay, maybe like a minute late because she's been stood up before, and there's nothing so awful as that whole waiting around and feeling like a total loser thing if you did get stood up. Not that Simon would do that. Simon was all different. And stuff.
But she's dressed! In, like, a skirt even, which, if you know Faith, has happened maybe twice. In about seven years. And a shockingly non-skanky top, although the boots definitely make up for it by being way past sky high. Either way, she slips into the chair next to him, with an awkwardly happy smile.]
Glad you showed.

It is good to see you, too.

So update me. How you been hanging?

I have been well. This town is unpredictable, but life here is always interesting. How have you been?

Ya think? Seriously? Wicked nice for you, I've got minutes--hours--god, days, where all I've got is the sound of my own brain for company. Patrolling gets seriously all 'going through the motions' on you when all the run-of-the-mill baddies are walking the level of absolute zilch. What's a slayer gotta do in this town sometimes, y'know?
[Aaaaand she's babbling again. Whoops. She shrugs.] But hey, looks like things are picking up anyway, so all the more to the woohoo?

As for what the Malnosso are brewin'... I really don't know. I mean, it sounds like they're taking names and putting out a cute little sign-up sheet about the whole thing but... when exactly've they been known to do much 'bout giving us a choice when they need us to do their dirty work for 'em?
[Little ol' Faith on a thinking binge. Feeeeaaarrrr...]
