Scene 1: ACTION
(Jesse and Tamara drive up to Wendys drive-thru:)
JESSE: "yeah can i get a small frosty"
INTERCOM: "is that all?"
JESSE: "yes"
INTERCOM: "that will be $2.14, please pull up"
(while driving to the window jesse turns to tamara in the passenger seat)
JESSE: "did she just say $2.14 for a small frosty? I said SMALL frosty right?"
TAMARA: "yeah you said SMALL, maybe she just is mixed up."
(the car stops at the window and the window opens, a young girl about 17 years old with blond hair leans out and says)
BLOND GIRL: "$2.14 please"
JESSE: "i ordered a SMALL frosty from the dollar menu right?"
BLOND GIRL: "yeah?"
JESSE: "but a small frosty from the dollar menu is A DOLLAR"
(blondie shruggs her shoulders with a confused look on her face and says)
BLOND GIRL: "taxes?"
JESSE: "a small frosty is a DOLLAR, and taxes are 8 cents to the dollar, U want me to pay a FUCKING dollar more for taxes?"
BLOND GIRL: "yup"
(while jesse is arguing with BLONDIE Tamara repeatedly says to jesse)
TAMARA: "just drive away!!"
(jesse still talking to BLOND GIRL)
JESSE: "why don't you ask someone else how much it is"
(Tamara convinces jesse to drive away. while driving away tamara says)
TAMARA: "i don't want them to get pissed at us and spit in our frosty, don't worry about it i don't want a frosty anymore."
JESSE: "thats not the point, i just want her to understand that she is retarded"
(later during the long haul back to rochester jesse breaks the dark silence by saying)
JESSE: (insert girly voice here) "that will be $2.14 um ok thanks?"
(tamara laughs)
JESSE: "how can you not understand that? she was so retarded"
