Have a poorly-conceived .gif story about the latest twist in my career path:
Remember that day, last week or so that I wrote off the position I interviewed for because I hadn't heard back?
Disney was all Y U NO BELIEEVE?
They called me today and offered me a full time position with the Disney Reservation Center.
I accepted that shit, of course.
The interview highlighted especially that my in-depth product knowledge really impressed them. Disney stanning? You have paid off.
I'm going to head into work early today, so I can put in my notice.
No more RFC drama llamas... no more Landry's bullshit. Happily exchanging it for potential Disney BS. XDD I'm no fool, I know that this isn't going to be "OMG FLAWLESS JOB +1 +1 +1 LEVEL UP," but I'm so damn happy to get out of RFC that it's not even funny. Plus benefits + Hub access (I miss that shit, ngl), plus the fact that it's not a retail gig. Aces. Would apply again.
The only sacrifice... my trip home in November, and my chance to see Patti LuPone alive dying yet AGAIN.
It's ok, though. Someday, I will see this flawless woman in person. SOMEDAY. if my days off in training coincide with a day she's performing in the Burgh, I may fly home anyway, just for the concert. la la la.
tl;dr : as of October 29, I work for the Mouse again, as a FT Reservation Sales Agent. Adios RFC. It's been real shitty.
