I just got told...
I thought I had a -2% chance of getting cut at work tonight, and it actually happened! I'm far happier than I logically should be, but it is the 40th anniversary of WDW, and the novelty of Wishes with perimeters at the end will drag me over there. Didn't go to the stuff this morning, because I preferred to sleep in and not deal with it, but I'll manage through the crowds for these. Mostly because I'll be there with Katie and Lexi; if I didn't know other people going, I know I'd lazy out of it. XD
Sadly, I am now flat broke... and I forgot to pay my phone bill. WHOOPS. Ha ha, priorities. >_< I spent more than I intended at F&W yesterday, though I did have the foresight to leave my debit cards at home. What did I get...
- Shrimp on the Barbie in Australia (tangy and delicious!)
- Belgium waffle in Belgium (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm)
- Chicken in the Caribbean (cooked fabulously, and the salsa it came with was amazing)
- Calamari salad in Portugal (ok, Lexi got it, but I tasted it, and it was delicious)
- Truffles in Belgium (same as above; Lexi got it, but I tasted it, and I shared my waffle with her. Melt in your mouth amazing).
- Parisian Cosmo Slush in France (Yummmm. My low tolerance meant that I got slightly buzzed, but walked it off quickly. Surprisingly strong, but delicious).
Spent about $20. We also stopped at the Werther's store in Germany and spent under a buck on some caramels.
We decided to ride Spaceship Earth before we left, skipping IllumiNations for it. I want a "burning Rome" candle. Come on, Disney, where the fuck is this shit?
Note: day 2 of "wear something sleeveless/more exposed than your used to" was a success. Felt sort of awkward because I had no support at the top of the dress, so I'll rectify that before I wear it next time, but still. No one died, and I still haven't been pelted with tomatoes. I think today I'm just going to wear my 40th annivesary shirt (because, duh), and that's well enough. Slowly trying to move myself away from a "t-shirts and stretchy fat pants" wardrobe. *nod*.
Finally, I actually recorded another Aladdin episode commentary, so I have to like do something with it and post it. I also really need to clean my room; no days off until we move next Sunday, other than if I get cut like this. Packing and stuff could actually be quite useful. Fighting against laziness right now. 'tis difficult. I'm going to go to MK in an hour or so, then I'll come home and see if I accomplish things. No, scratch that, I have to do laundry when I get home, so I *will* accomplish something probably.
