Misadventure and Disease
I've been more Aladdin-nerdy lately than I've been in a while; it's nice! Even my reference count is going up. I referenced "Sneeze the Day" this morning, when I lamented that I had a cold, despite not eating guavas. I also did a "Hero with a Thousand Feathers" reference last night, with "Moar fireworks!!" I was on Splash Mountain with some friends/people I just met, and Wishes was going on as we went up the first lift hill. We were able to turn and watch the finale before we went back into the Mountain. Win!
Saw the Enchanted Tiki Room with my date, Iago, last night (no, seriously: I was hanging out with couples. Two couples, and me with a stuffed parrot. My life is sad and pathetic). Honestly? I found it dull and pointless as shit. There's some fun banter in there, and it's cute, but eh, I just missed Iago tons. Maybe I'd have to be in the mood for it? I mean, that never works for Small World, but... XD Sad that there was actually a good number of people at the show, as I didn't get to use the "no1curr" sign I brought for the occasion. I only trolled a bit. Took random pics of shit with Iago), wore a Dreamworks bag, and chewed gum. I'm a very subtle troll, ok?

Erm, yeah. I've mentioned this, but my D23 trip turned into me being animal caretaker... but I do get a sort of vacation out of this. My friend's cat is really sick right now, so I'm moving into their house for the week to make sure everything stays ok. Vania has a GINORMOUS bed. I'm ok with this. I don't get to test my new living situation, but I get to test myself living alone with cats. Important stuff. *nod* So now I have to pack a bag, figure out what food to buy/bring, etc., for my week away from here.
My manager had screwed up my schedule for today, listing me as off, and I asked if I could work... now that I'm feeling awful, I regret asking. Well sonofabitch. My life? You are predictably failicious.
That's about all I have going on right now. Working on some stuff, thinking about some stuff.... mulling over the costume idea, but haven't done any research as to what I'd need/how to do it yet. I do have access to a sewing machine, so that helps... yeah. We'll see.
