nate left yesterday. it was sad times, but i have faith he's gonna make it. im really glad i got to spend time with him, even though i could sense alot of turmoil.
i got up at 8:30 yesterday cuz i thought we were gonna get some breakfast. turned out his truck ran outa gas on the freeway. i think it was a blessing in disguise tho. i was praying that he would have the chance, and gaia came through. w00t gaia
when i got back, i realized it was almost august, my edge-anniversary month. this marks 2 years for me, of making one of the best decisions in my life. feels so good
to celebrate a little yesterday, i shaved my head, in true sxe fashion. i was going to go to gilman last night too, but i was just too tired.
instead i watched samurai fiction, which is a pretty dam cool modern samurai film. its got the throwbacks to the classics, like with the storyline, and the film noir style. but it has a nice modern touch. the music is fucking crazy. they used a japanese guitarist for much of the film (he also happens to be in the film). its a nice twist, but takes some getting used to.

-subtle use of color, mostly during death scenes
-an old ninja..."you rang, sir."
-the old ninja's disciples
-creative camera work
-a REDICULOUSLY cute japanese girl
the end is a little strange, but all in all, really cool film
today i think im gonna buy some cheap clubs and maybe go to the range tonight.
oh oh i was browsing itunes today and found some Agathodaimon! hella stoked. i think im gonna buy an album
