Yesterday I went up to Edinburgh to look round the accomodation options. William Hague was on the plane too, although I doubt he was going to look at Pollock Halls.
There were a lot of Polish people in Edinburgh, it was scary.
I really enjoyed it though, as I was ill on my last trip there I hadn't realised how pretty the place is, I particularly liked the gothic and neoclassical architecture, and some stunning views of the mountains and crags to be had.
Today walked all round Edinburgh checking out various uni flats and the main halls. I have decided to go for halls as I think the flats look a bit small (as in not many people to meet), and also halls is a uni cliche that I want to do ;)
Also saw a few of the sights, including a tour around the Scottish Parliament. Quite an impressive building, but it did just look like a nice block of flats rather than a country-wide seat of power.
Now I am off for a little sleepy, last three days I've barely sat down!
