100 Monkeys concert last night- Jackson Rathbone is adorable and a Rockstar :)

So, last night I went to a 100 Monkeys concert in LA at this tiny little dive bar venue in Glendale called The Scene.  We mainly went to see Jackson Rathbone, because we were in town anyway and we figured, why not?  The show was only $10 bucks and we figured it would be a low-risk good time.  The show got a super late start and we had to wait outside for an hour after the doors were supposed to open because they weren't ready for some reason.  The line was ALL women, mostly women, dressed up all cute and thankfully it was a 21+ show.  (Any guy who is looking for cute girls should follow this band around, it was insane how many ladies were there and NO guys!)  Apparently the AC had broken that day because it was insanely hot inside and very small and divey, nice and intimate.

The first two bands that played were very entertaining!  We thought they were really good and enjoyed every minute of it.  100 Monkeys didn't come on until midnight and they were really good too, they put on a great show.  They jumped around in their style, sometimes sounding like rock, sometimes they reminded me of the singing in the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and sometimes they were a little jazzy with kindof a 40's or 50's vibe.  All of the musicians in their band are extremely talented and they often would switch instruments, which was kindof astonishing!  And they are all super cute boys, which doesn't hurt :)  Jackson Rathbone of course was greeted with screams and flashing camaras when they first came out for the first 15 minutes or so.  He has an incredible voice; beautiful when singing, and memorable and compelling when speaking or yelling--definitely an actors voice.  He is gorgeous in person, is charismatic and was so flirty in his performance style, flashing that heartbreaking smile complete with the dimple and being very cute.  It was truly entertaining and I'm crushing on him way more now :)  I left at 1:30 am because I had a 2 hour drive back to San Diego and when I left it seemed like they were going to play 1 or 2 more songs.  I had a great drive home because of the adrenaline of seeing three great bands perform, got home at 3:30am.  Here are some pics under the cut:
