the hardest thing
The hardest thing about my job is intermittent crises. I can handle a steady stream of very busy, and I can handle not being busy because I find things to do. What I HATE is being bored most of the time, but needing to be in one place and available for really important things quite infrequently.
That is what I'm doing today. I'm camped outside a classroom preventing kids who hate their science teachers from all dogpiling the cute new guy.
Which mostly means being bored, then being mean in alternating moments.
