Fragmenting and such

Hungry, I sit
Playing with colors in my mouth
Purple, puse, pink, putty
They make me thirsty too. And
I have to pee,
But who wants to leave this spot where I sit,
For once,
Again,
Alone.

I didn't ask for extremes,
But night and day hide
the middle ground of sunrise so easily
when you're asleep.
I didn't hope to live in distant camps plotting
Battles, but the children gang up anyway.
It takes strategic genius
To keep from damaging them;
I'm good, but
You know,
Like the red zip line before an eclipse
There's not enough of me to satisfy anyone.
