monday monday
So, another week begins, another series of blagging my way through lessons. I think I/ve planned something, at least I hope so. I had a good weekend at least, going to one birthday party and examining the increasingly erratic behavious of Staszek. On Friday night he refused to speak, claiming he had lost his voice (though oddly smoking and drinking caused little or no problems for him), then got angry on Saturday when I didn/t sms him immediately I went out.
So anyway, I also watched Closer (Bliżej) with some friends last night. I think my view of it was distorted by my lack of access to new English media but it seemed quite good. It features Natalie Portman stripping to the tune of How Soon Is Now, which was almost worth 11zł on its own I suppose. My one problem was that it wasn/t depressing or dark enough - I expected more from Patrick Marber.
My father is here, and it seems i/ll be treated to 1 hour in the Czech Republic on Wednesday due to the poor nature of return bus services, which will be fun, I hope.
