pray for papa
i just got a call from my sister. my grandfather lives with my parents, and he is about 87, i think. his mind is sharp as a tack, but his body is kind of feeble--he's been in great health, taking short walks in the neighborhood and all. he's had problems with his lungs, and gets out of breath easily. he's never smoked, but my granny was a heavy smoker. he's the happiest, sweetest man you'd ever want to meet. he's like a light.
my sister called and told me he developed a bad cough and has been feeling really bad over the past couple days. Mom took him to the doctor yesterday, and saw the nurse practitioner, and she apparently did not do them a bit of good. and this morning, he woke up with a fever of 101. mom has a call into the doctor, and will probably just take him to the ER. i'm going to meet her at the hospital in a bit.
so for anyone who prays, please remember my papa today. and my family--this is really scary.
