okay, so first off, the movie was really good :), and i'm not just saying that cause i worked on it (i still think hack fuckin sucks, and i worked on that, hehe), it was actually really good. j.lo haters, she's barely in it, and when she is, it's not painful, so just get off your asses and go see the movie :). also, affleck was pretty good in it, he's always good in kevin's movies. kevin's really good at writing him a role that's just like him, where he doesn't need to act, it's movies like paycheck or daredevil that he needs to just stop doing. he's a fuckin asshole (trust me, i've met him) but he's good at these kind of roles, and he really makes this movie work. george carlin was just fantastic, played his role perfectly. the story was really good, and worked really well, it was sappier than his usual dick&fartjoke movies, but still contained the usual humor at times. a little something for everyone :). sir jason lee's cameo was hilarious. damn i love that guy. and thanks to vilmos zsigmond, the movie looked amazing. beautifully lit, excellent camera motion, etc etc. it was really cool to actually see something on the big screen that you were there when it was shot. being confined to the office, that was a rarity on this film, but there were numerous times when i was like "i was right there". really fucking cool :). and goddamn was it good to see my name up there :). getting the imdb page was awexome, but actually seeing my name up there was fucking sweet. it had to be at least 15 feet across. fucking awexome.

after the movie, kevin came out and did a Q&A session with the crowd until they kicked us out of the theatre cause they had to start the next movie. if you've seen "an evening with kevin smith" you know he's not polite, he really rips into people :). there was this one little 16yr old twerp that disapproved of the music selections for the soundtrack (specifically fleetwood mac's landslide, which he didn't even know the name of...). kevin just laid into that kid, it was pretty damn funny :). he talked about his next project which will be "the green hornet", he's putting fletch and ranger danger aside for the time being and working on that. i'm excited :). after they kicked us out, he was out in the lobby just chattin with people. i finally made my way up to him, and he remembered me, again :). shook my hand, "anthony, good to see you", gave me a hug, chatted it up, asked what i thought of the movie, etc. really cool :).

motivation to stop feeling sorry for myself and to get off my ass and start doing something: kevin turns 34 in the summer, clerks turns 11 in october.
