(no subject)
What with unexpectedly having to move flats, having no internet in said new flat for a week and a half (thank goodness for Starbucks or I'd never get anything done) and...well, work issues, I've fallen so behind in fandom and catching up with my friends!
It looks like I'm still going to be pretty shaky, internet access wise, for a while. Ian has been shouting with the company for a bit, on the premise that if he throws enough technical terms around he'll get somewhere.
Since I can't talk about work, I'm going to talk about the new flat. It's a bit smaller than my old one, but I don't need much space, anyway. The kitchen leaves a bit to be desired, but what I cook, I can cook anywhere. The bedroom is pretty large, which is nice, because I've lost my dining/storage area in exchange for less expensive rent. My landlord seems decent, if a bit quiet, but nothing I can't handle.
I'm still living out of boxes, right now, because of my busy schedule. My front room has all the empty ones, while my bedroom is full of boxes of clothing and pictures and towels and kitchen stuff and just so much to unpack.
Speaking of, I really should be unpacking. I just heard something fall back there and Ian swear, so I should probably make sure he didn't drop something my mother gave me.
