Where does the time go?

Alaric will be 8 months old this weekend. Wow. I have no idea how this happened.
My brain, she is not the same, remembering sort of brain she used to be.
Anyway, I mean to keep a little better track, always...but I am not faring well at such endeavours.
I've been having lots of issues with Crohn's. Just more of the same old story, nothing to see here

Oh! Oh, what a lovely boy you have. Raspberries, I remember those. And contentment with relative confinement. *grin* And he sleeps at night, mostly -- that's fantastic. (Six wakings in 8 hours, however, sounds suspiciously like newborn behavior, and I think he should stop that Right Now.)

It seems to have been a blip. He has slept through 'til morning the last two days, anyway. Teething? A slight cold? We will never know.
Actually, I don't remember him ever waking 6 times as a newborn, even--but then, there is clearly a protective forgetfulness for the first few weeks, or we'd never have managed to survive as a species. :)

I am always impressed with how well newly-mobile babies bounce right back up after a fall.
