Thoughts?
I have been a huge fan of this little, independent salon downtown for several months. Mascha, my adorable, Russian stylist, is the only one I trust with my stupid hair and Yeti eyebrows. I LIVE for those visits with her. It's such a treat, and it's only $10 (plus tip). :)
Anyway, the salon does a lot of charity work and whatnot. I received an invitation to the owner's 40th birthday party on March 28th. Proceeds from silent auctions and so on are going to benefit Sylvia's Place, a woman's shelter named for a local woman who lost her life while trying to escape an abusive relationship. I'd really like to go.
On the invitation, however, it says "festive attire".
*confused*
What is "festive attire"? A black cocktail dress? A snazzy purple skirt and black sweater? Jeans and a sparkly top?
HELP.
Maybe I could ask Mascha when I go in to get my eyebrows fixed again...
