I figured as much. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday (for my allergies), so I'll hit him up for some amoxicillin while I'm there. :)

But it's in my lungs now. And I'm all snuffly. And wheezy. And I can't sleep because of the wheezing. :( Waaaaaah.

Heh. :)

Hooray for NyQuil!

I feel a bit like Typhoid Mary. I wish I'd come down with it a day sooner, since I'd probably have stayed home last weekend and avoided infecting my friends. :( Plus I'd have gotten more sleep and probably shed the damn bug faster.

I'm still sick, BTW, but slowly getting a bit better. Sinuses are still a mess, and when I cough really hard it feels like my head is going to explode. By Thursday I could taste the stuffing, but not the turkey or mashed potatoes.

I found that taking 2 bendadryl plus a dose of NyQuil actually let me get sleep after I got home. I'm now down to NyQuil plus 1 benadryl, and my voice is a bit better today than yesterday.

My best recommendation is to get as much sleep as possible. That's what seems to be helping me the most.

Oh, NyQuil is enough. Trust me. AND, I get the bonus of really weird dreams! :) Last night, I was buying a house in 1955 and couldn't say certain things to my 1955 husband for fear of offending him. Ha! :) It was hilarious.

I could have caught this from anyone, honestly. I'm always sick this time of year because everyone else is sick this time of year. Don't feel bad.

That sounds hysterical.

The only dream I can remember from this week is one where I was walking around the house singing "Hey Jude" and then "Hard Day's Night" by the Beetles. Except it was the house we moved out of in 1990, and I can't actually sing at the moment with the shape my throat is in. In fact, as I woke up I remember thinking "Hey, I can sing again!" and then discovering otherwise after I'd completely woken.

I don't usually remember my dreams--only if I wake up during them.

I had to skip singing with the choir at the mass meeting, and am currently hoping to have my voice back in time for our concert at the Westland Library on the 2nd. I suspect it'll depend how long this cough lingers.

Well I for one didn't get it. The allergy crud lessened to its usual levels, and I never felt sick.

Hope you keep getting better!
