After a night of conversations in the Common Room, Dean headed back to his room with Hunter and flopped down on the bed. After some thought, he reached for his cell phone and dialed a certain number.

"Demons exorcised, zombies set on fire, ghosts escorted into the light," Alec rattled off absently as he picked up. "Whatever you need, I can do, so whatcha got?"

"I tried to bill myself as a hunter-slash-escort service, but Bobby thought it was in bad taste," he replied. "No one that doesn't know what I do calls me anyway, so whatever."

"I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation," Dean said, still smiling. "So it sounds like everything's going well?"

"Yeah, besides being in the middle of nowhere, it's not bad." Alec sounded vaguely surprised, despite himself. "Once Bobby found out how much training I could do in a day, he's been keeping me pretty busy."

"Oh I bet Bobby's doing his best to actually tire you out. Not dirty," Dean said. "That's good. You're going to be a better hunter than me by the time I graduate."

"If you count obstacle courses around the junkyard for half the day as hunter-training, then maybe," he said dryly. "So what's up with you, anyway?"
