Today's just one of those days that little decisions you make have a big effect. I did a habitat build this morning, and I was supposed to stay til 4, but I decided while I was there that I would leave at 12:30 with someone who was leaving. So I got back and was hanging out in the hall and randomly started a discussion about classes and majors with my RA. I was talking to him about how I have so many classes to take between my math major, gen ed requirements, and physical therapy requirements--basically I don't have time to take any class just because I want to. After talking to him I just started thinking about majors and decided to look into the bio major out of curiousity. I realized that so many of my physical therapy requirements are bio major requirements, so basically I only have to take 4 classes for the bio major (1 or 2 of which are recommended for PT, but I wouldn't have had time to take). This is in comparison with the 9 more classes that I needed for my math major. So I've decided to switch to a bio major because the classes seem really interesting and having so much more room in my schedule will make it so much easier to go abroad and allow me to take some classes that interest me without being so frustrated and stressed out. I wouldn't have even realized any of this if it hadn't been for the random conversation that I had with my RA when I was supposed to still be at habitat. It makes me feel so much more relaxed and excited about my classes. I had been frustrated that I'm not able to study more physical therapy related stuff now, but I've realized I really can study some of that stuff now. It's just kind of been one of those weekends that have been nice and chill because my roommate and several other friends have been gone, which kind of sucks but is all nice. The weather here is also beautiful. It's supposed to be a high of 81 tomorrow, which means a perfect day to play some tennis and then lay out by the pool. Also, I only have 6 more days of class left and I'll be back in Cali in 19 days! This summer is going to be awesome.
