Quote of the Day:
"Peekaboob."
-It's my new nickname at work. Is an explanation really necessary?

How appropriate, given my chosen career path.

I would like to apologize to Lu for not seeing him Tuesday night (or at all for quite a while). I got to make a nice little trip to the hospital Tuesday morning and have not been feeling well for about two weeks now. I also have a lot of work to do for school and major parties at work that I apparently can't hide from in the comfort of my own bed for more than one day. Oh well, at least I have a minimum of fourteen pills to help me through each day now and I didn't have to get a shot (for I am apparently susceptible to most side effects nowadays).

Last night, I discovered the joy of Tylenol Arthritis. There's not really anything special about it that makes it for Arthritis, but it lasts a really long time because it comes in 650mg pills instead of the normal 500mg.

Lauren Spencer has arranged for an art sale next Thursday and Friday, for anyone who is interested. It is in the lobby of the Potter Fine Arts Building on campus. It is not just pots this year because the people who used to organize the Christmas "art sale" were ceramicists. One of them has graduated, and the other is done with her ceramics classes and being forced to do prints and graphics. I will have stuff in it and will be working there on Friday, which is my birthday. I am excited and such. I actually got my birthday off from SJCC, so my mom is taking me to KC for shopping and consumption of food. Drinking is out of the question until at least February. Prednisone+Celebrex+Plaquinel+virtually any pain reliever= alcohol's enemy.

My Granny and I helped my Mom put up the Christmas tree tonight. Really, my mom put it up and Granny and I just helped decorate. I generally hate the way Christmas trees look. Why put all of that crap on a once beautiful living tree? However, ours is always fake, and it looks okay this year. We have a new tree, and we decorated it in all gold. It's purdy.
