Out of boredom, while waiting for beans to cook, I decided to look up
my credit report. Student loans sure add up to a lot, don't
they? But other than the massive amount of debt incurred from
those, my credit seems to be doing good. At least for now.
I just got paid yesterday and had a wonderful paycheck from all the
work I did in the past two weeks. I think life will finally
return to normal for me. Of course I am coming down with a
cold. A freaking cold! How many times can one person get
sick in two months? Huh? It ticks me off since I'm normally
so healthy. Maybe my body is making up for past years where I've
only gotten one or two bugs. As long as I'm healthy in time to
get my flu shot at the end of October. I did attempt to splurge
to reward myself for a few weeks of hard work and surprisingly had the
most success finding clothing at value village. $17 for two
skirts and two shirts! Woo-hoo!
Last night I started a bible study with a lady from my church. So
far it's pretty interesting. It's a 12 week study,
with some homework. Right now I'm trying to memorize the book
names of the old testament, in order. It'll make it a heck of a
lot easier to flip to them in church if I know them (instead of
rustling around trying to find the right page and not hearing the
sermon). Can you believe there's 39 books in the old
testament? I'd never really even heard of a couple of them.
Anyways, it's interesting, and maybe it'll help me figure out this
whole Christianity thing. At least it's starting to make a lot
more sense to me.
Well, I must run to work (again). I told my mom I'd work for her
a few hours today. Whee. It pays I suppose. At least
when I get home later my yummy bean soup will be ready. Yay!
