O Canada!

Hey Y'all! I'm in Canada! And very tired of driving after day four of driving all day. Yesterday was a marathon 13 hours! We didn't make it very far today. So we're spending the night in Meritt, British Columbia, in a hotel that actually has internet access, so I figured I'd take advantage of it. One more day and we're in Spokane!

So far I've seen a lot of wildlife, especially after one morning leaving Muncho Lake. The lodge we stayed at was interesting, owned by Germans. When you checked in you got a coupon for $10 off Schnitzel and gas! They really knew how to make steak, though. Anyways, the wildlife (other than Germans and French Canadians). I saw lots of caribou, deer, buffalo, moose, one fox, cows, horses, and sheep. The first four liked jumping out in front of our car in the morning. One buffalo decided the best place to hang out and graze was at the bottom of a hill with a "VERY DANGEROUS CURVE." We missed the buffalo but almost creamed the tourist parked in the middle of the road! Buffalo are so cute, though! I wanted to take them with me!

Anyways, it has been a fun trip. I am yearning for fruit, though, as I haven't had any since I left Fairbanks. Oh well, tomorrow we'll be going through some more farm country so we're bound to run across a stand or two.

Well, better start getting ready to sleep, got a long day ahead. Take care everyone!

PS: OMG IT IS SO HOT!!!! I'm pining for arctic air!
