There are too many women on this boat.

[A long hesitation, with some soft breathing in the background. Before some movement and a damn loud rustle.]

Your concern is not without base. Excessive estrogen has been known to wear through balsa wood at alarming rates. Luckily, we're on a steel-and-steamer, so you may exhale with affluence, as such:

[deep breaths in quick succession. Samuel is clearly enjoying his air. it drags on for uncomfortably long, until it becomes labored.]

S-see? Nothing luh-like a goood breathe. Wonderfully dizzying.

[thump.]

Why.. if it isn't Mister Floor. Good night, Floor.

[Had taken that moment to understand was estrogen was, before the fish nodded to himself. It made sense, even if that wasn't the core of his, 'problem' with women.

That was until he heard a thump.]

!! You alright?

Yes. I am... completely whole. Goodnight, hole!

[cough.]

..Maybe you should consider slowing down your breathing, so that you do not collapse.

Point filed and promptly lost through the hole.

..What,..is the hole?

I would say that the hole is 'immaterial' but I would rather regret seeming glib.

I might be coming back from my unfortunate respiratory journey; be a dear and ask me a complicated question to check that I'm coherent.

..[Voice perks up a bit, the good little fish nods softly to himself. Or at least towards his comm.]

If Redd really did destroy our worlds, or let them be destroyed- How many do you think are still 'standing'?

None. If the captain conceded to the demolition of but one world, the others would all lie themselves down in mourning, their airy arms thrusted heavens-ward in a vain attempt to catch the dust of their former beloved sky brother.

Hah! It seems I'm perfectly sensible. What's your verdict?

..You sound rather coherent, yes.

And the answer makes perfect sense as well. Though as to the means of one captain destroying so many planets without them seemingly doing no damage to him is kind of troubling.
