Well, I received the official go-ahead--I am now slated to teach a remedial English class here at WMU, Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 to 11:50. My day has just been made

Thank you much. I imagine that English 100 will include some ESL students, but mostly it consists of students that are not prepared to write at the college level and need helping bolstering their ability.
The program here is unique in that they select the most qualified undergrad students to teach. They work under within the support framework of a grad mentor, a director, as well as meeting with other fellow undergrads once a week. Also, tutors from the writing center come in to help with writing workshops. The cool part is: I am the teacher, responsible for grading, lesson planning, instruction, etc. I am not a TA, but a fully responsible instructor.
