Almost 10.000 Pageviews!
I have just visited my deviantart account, and the realisation dawned on me that I have almost reached the 10.000 pageview mark. Since this is considered to be a cause of celebration on Deviantart, I thought I should join in as well. Usually, this means that whoever manages to get the 10.000th pageview screencaps it and sends the screencap to the owner of the page with a request for the latter to draw them something. It is rather reminiscent of a hobbit birthday in that respect: rather than receiving gifts, you give them. In this case, it is only a single gift to a single person, or maybe two gifts if two people manage to screencap a pageview close to 10.000 and nobody actually captures the 10.000th.
Anyway, since I feel it is unfair to limit this pageview-chasing "frenzy" to deviantart members only, I thought I'd extend it to my friends-list as well. Not just because I like you, but I would like to up my chances of somebody I actually know catching the 10.000th pageview. Making art for a lucky stranger can be alright too, but drawing a request for a friend is much more fun.
