Just gonna keep on waiting underneath that mistletoe.

fodsajldkfjlasfjdla sdfkhagkjasdlkfja dl;j it's snowing. I can't tell if it's sticking bit it's coming down hard and oh my God, it's actually snowing, it hasn't done that all year and it hasn't snowed in Seattle on Christmas since I was about one. Holy shit, I had resigned myself to a rainy Christmas this year, too.

Because everyone's dying to hear about my consumer gain, I got:
  • a bellydance costume and corresponding book and music
  • The Monday to Friday Cookbook
  • two button-down shirts, one black (I squealed aloud when I received it; I need one so badly)
  • gray pajama pants
  • $25 and a pair of pajamas from my birthmother
  • a teapot/diffuser and a pair of awesome eskimo boots from my cousin Ca
  • a $15 Starbucks card
  • $50 from my grandfather
  • The Oxford Guide to Plays and Women Playwrights: The Best Plays of 1996
  • a magnet reading "rainy days and morons always get me down..."
  • a denim skirt and vest
  • boots (from Mom, that I picked out-- will post pictures)
  • a crocheted rainbow vest that, inexplicably, matches my hair
  • a manicure set
  • a $15 iTunes card
  • earrings
  • a tape measure (yes! finally!)
  • a RHPS wall calendar
  • salt and chocolate. Mmmmm.

Since I didn't do this on Thanksgiving, I honestly didn't want a lot for Christmas. As cranky as I've been lately, and as tough as this holiday has been on me, I'm thankful for this more than anything on the above list. And the best part about that gift is, it's there all year round. Thanks, guys. ♥

love, friends, jesus ruins the xmas atmos, prezzies
