1) This post is still open! So go comment. (So is this one, but it's slightly more friendslocked.)
2) Money update. Basically, my money situation is nil right now. The job I was "guaranteed" to get, according to my friend who works there already, went to someone else and I found out today that I'm randomly $77 more in debt than I thought. Hmm. Well, home I came and worked on jobsearching for three hours, which hopefully pans out.
3) Just so that I can get all my money blathering out in one post and not spam, here's that wishlist meme.
*Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real life things (not stories or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
a. Would really like some money. If anyone wants to give me money, they're totally welcome to. Otherwise, there are a few other things that I'm looking at...
b. Music. Seriously, I can always, always use more tunes. I'm almost immediately likely to like anything considered punk or punk pop, Celtic/world, or opera (yes, I know, it's a weird primary variety), but if you've got anything that you think is good and would like to throw at me, please let me know. I'd especially love classic rock, emo rock, and angry girl rock/girl rock in general, but if you have something you think I might like, I'll probably adore it.
c. Fic! Dear God, write me fic. Almost anything involving a fandom I've been in I'll love, but if you want to write me a game OTP or one of my specific OTPs or kinks or something, ask for suggestions. I'll love you forever if you write me porn.
d. I'd love a gift certificate to this establishment. I've been wanting to get some work done for a while (body piercing), and this is my regular shop.
e. Want.

f. I have been thinking for a while that I would like to learn to play the electric bass. If by some chance, you have one lying around, I would gladly take it off your hands.
g. Manic Panic temporary hair dye in Vampire Red, Rock 'n Roll Red, or Deadly Nightshade.
h. 4 18gauge fairly large CBRs/curved barbells/studs. I'm stretching my ears and I want to get them all done.
4) I have just one exam this week and my final project's all but done. Why does school suddenly start to rock right now?
