Sleeping on your folks' porch again.
This morning at around 1:30 my RA informed me that if I was planning to leave the housing, I'd need to go to the Housing Office and get the paperwork to get my deposit back today. It usually takes a couple days to get it through, she said, so I'd have to really hustle to get it done. Somehow I managed to catch every single person whose signature I needed and get it done within half an hour. What can I say? I'm magic. (I am also getting the hell out of here, officially, now. I can't tell you how excited I am about that. I almost literally danced from the housing office to my dorm.) Now if I can only finish my application essays tonight, I'll be in business.
So far it's turning out to be a happy day. I really only have two classes to get through, I have Heroes to look forward to tonight, and I'm very aware today of the fact that I love you guys, especially certain ones of you that I will make a point to contact today. And, of course, I love my girlfriend but what else is new?
I'm also rather inspired in the writing department so those of you who watch my ficjournal may actually see an update on it in a few days. Le gasp.
Right, now I go on to pretend that I actually have more important things to do.
