Today I totally pierced my own ear! No, really-- all the equipment I used was completely sterilized and I did it in a sanitary manner with the necessary tools, and I also retain the common sense to take it out if it gets infected or uncomfortable. But I don't think it will, because it looks pretty good. It feels fine, but sore. It bled and hurt like a bitch, though. I don't recommend ever going the home-piercing route-- I'd gladly pay the extra $40 just to have myself put in good, non-squeamish hands. But it looks good, no?
In the non-bodily area, I applied for jobs, got an interview for a position as a barista (a job that, as I look at it, I kind of want less and less), went for coffee with my dad, and watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. It was epic.
