I bought a basking lamp for Rufus over the weekend and he's started slithering around the cage more often, basking on his driftwood log and in the substrate around his hide-box. He's so cute. I have to love a pet where I can spend 45 minutes playing with him and not notice the time going by.
In other happymaking news, I also got to officiate over a project in ProPrac. I taught another guy how to build a platform! Well, that's an exaggeration. But we got a working platform put together in one class period. Two people, only one of whom had done it before-- and both freshmen. I'm so ridiculously proud of myself.
