Gentle readers,

We are so excited! We just pre-sold more tickets today (June 20th) than we did as of September 6th last year.

This is particularly exciting because as I'm sure you all know, most people don't like to commit to a presale until the very last moment of the deadline, thus most of our ticket sales tend to happen in late August/early September.

For a completely unrefined moment, *squee* How fucking cool is that?!

Darlings, you couldn't *possibly* want to miss out on this. It's going to be our biggest, best SalonCon yet, I can feel it in my bones. We have so many repeat patrons (hello! I recognize your names on Paypal! Thank you for believing in us!), vendors (thank you for helping us pay our bills with your help!), and guests of honor (thank you, thank you, thank you for staying with us as we've grown and learned!), I have to believe we're doing something(s) right.

Our schedule is rapidly becoming more awesome than I ever could possibly have imagined, we've been having oh so many meetings to make this SalonCon run even more smoothly and to make it as aestetically pleasing as possible, and I am just so v. excited.

I got the maximum number of patrons allowed for The Cream Tea, and if we get as many patrons as we are tentatively projecting, there is a very distinct possibility that we will sell out the space before September. It really and truly behooves you to book your reservation for the The Cream Tea asap.

Additionally, presales do a number of marvelous things for a convention: It helps your board sleep at night, it gives us more "up front capital" so that we may book bigger and better and more exciting things to entertain you with, and it makes it so we can make next year's SalonCon even better. Also, who doesn't like the discount? So please book your reservation to join us as soon as possible.

And, as any seasoned congoer will tell you, it is so much more fun and convenient if you stay over. We especially love our hotel because they're always growing and changing in the best possible ways. This year, they've replaced all of the beds and bedding for that lovely white duvet look (and the mattresses are soooo comfortable! I tried it out as I am v. fussy about my sleeping arrangements) and they are also looking to get flat screen tellies in everyone's room in time for the con. Convinced? Get details on how to book here.

As my acting professor would adorably proclaim every time her cell phone rang, "OMG! We're famous!"

with much love,
Deborah
