i have a feeling i'll be updating more frequently in the winter, which is stupid because i'll be doing a lot less. so i'll just ramble. or maybe then i'll be able to tell some insane stories of this summer.
it's been SOOOO busy at work. this is the only chance i have to write anything. School is a total bomb for me this semester. i think i've learned my lesson in night school, i should just overload myself with classes in the winter and not bother taking anything in the summer. it's such a waste of time. there's way too much going on that makes me skip. not just plans that come up... but like, tickets to concerts, or dress fittings for wedding parties that i'm in.
which reminds me, i went to the bridal shower for the wedding that i'm in. she is fiance to dennis's best friend. i LOVE this couple. their fantastic and i'm so happy for them. at the shower however, it was about 110 OLD greek church women, and 10 people under 50. there was so much food and a ton of desserts left over. so at the end of the shower as people were leaving, they brought out styrofoam containers for some of the women to take food home. i almost DIED laughing when i saw at least 5 of these women pull foil wrap out of their purses. it was priceless. i think i managed to get a picture of one of these prepared little ladies. i hope i did.
Dennis and i went to the molson indy on sunday. it was SOOO much fun, i felt 5 years old. i had no idea! i've always really liked cars, and going to the auto show is something i look forward to every year. but wow, the indy was incredible. so loud, so exciting. we had great seats. i think the indy is what heaven is like for trailer trash. i don't want to offend anyone, but i did see some of the sickest people i've ever seen. Beer+Girls+Cars= white trash heaven. 50 year old women in leopard print jump suits with very strategically placed cut-outs. cigarette hanging out of the mouth, beer spilling in one hand and grandchild wearing nothing but diapers falling out of the other arm. be a dear and hold grandma's cigarette while she takes a shot. ugh.
I'm finally seeing a chiropractor (or chiro-PRACT-or as mike pronounces it). i'm supposed to have been going to physio therapy for the past, oh, 7 or 8 years. i think i went about 6 times then gave up. i wonder if he'll know if i lie and say that i have been going... meh.
4 DAYS UNTIL MADONNA!!!
