What the hell is up with all of the goddamn people saying "Oh my God, Bush won! I'm going to leave the country because this is the end of America!" Yes, he's a terrible President and will be again. Yes, he derives some sort of enjoyment from destabilizing other countries and hence the world. Yes, he pisses lots of people off, both here and abroad. But America hasn't exactly been the most popular country in the world for the past 40 years. Bush doesn't herald the end of the world. Things will probably get worse in the next 4 years, but there is a lot more time after he's gone when it won't matter quite so much.
I'm just sick and tired of hearing people make superlative exclamations about the End Of All Things because Republicans run the government. They've done so for half of the history of the country.
