in case some of you dont know about this, there will be a mass march in DC the weekend of september 24th thru 26th. a rally for peace.
-it'll be fucking HUGE.
-if you're unhappy with the way shit is going down- do something about it!
-there will be sweet bands: le tigre, ted leo and the pharmacists, bouncing souls, anti-flag etc.. oh and JELLO BIAFRA is hosting it!
i believe this is the first time since the 60s that we've been able to get a permit to march on the mall so this is no joke. i'm packing my car with as many people as i can bring and i urge you to do the same. most of the people on my friends list are politically active/aware so i'm expecting you to be there. if you're not too familiar with the dc area, i used to live there so i can tell you about some sweet places you should check out.
anyway. first day of classes (history of women & german I)! wish me luck!
