I stand corrected

What I previously assumed to be the cry of a fisher was in fact the cry of a red fox.

Makes sense, as I did see foxes in our area.

Turns out fishers' calls are a little lower-pitched, shorter, and way more frequent.

Hearing this underneath your window in the middle of the night pretty much sucks.
