I has a laptop!
It used to be Hermione's, but she splurged and bought a brand-new Macbook Pro, so I got her old (er, well, 4-month-old) machine. So far it's interesting. I'm trying to get used to Vista and to a teeny-weeny keyboard that has all its keys in strange places. But it is very nice to be able to lie down and surf the internets at the same time! (Even if I am making a bajillion typos while I'm at it.)
I need a suitably themed name for it, though. Can anyone think of something along the lines of "Gloom", "The Sulk", and "The Stygian" that is suitable for something medium-sized and travel-oriented? ("Gloom" being my desktop -- though that occasionally changes to "Groucho" depending how cooperative it's being -- "Sulk" being my USB keys, and "The Stygian" being my iPod since it ferries things from spot to place more often than not.)
My life is crazy right now. Crazy. I have been doing nothing but schoolwork, 24/7 (LITERALLY, I MEAN IT, I HAVE NOT BEEN SLEEPING) for the past week at least. And it will continue! Gah! It would be nice if people would stop flaking out on us. I don't know. I guess they will be reckoned with, eventually.
I had this bizarre dream that an ex-friend of mine was trying to get revenge by sending me furry porn, but I was just really entertained by it all.
I wish Henry would get back. I leave in just about a week. But he's working hard to make sure the film gets finished, so... I guess I will just wait...
