Bizarre Coincidence!
So many many moons ago while I was in college my then-boyfriend (Richard) painted the NMA Thunder and Consolation logo on the back of an old army surplus shirt for me and I wore it to death.
Mum was having a clear out just before Xmas and found it and gave it back to me on Monday when I saw her - I had forgotten all about it, but was delighted to get it back, as you can imagine.
I wore it on New Years eve, and again yesterday when we went round to see K8 and Stov as K8 is also a massive fan and I thought it would make her smile.
Just now I got a Myspace message from Richard's currently girlfriend asking if I was in Smethwick yesterday by any chance cos they were driving along and Richard spotted the shirt and thought it might be me, but by the time they had turned the car around I had vanished!
How UTTERLY mad is that that the guy that painted the shirt, what, 18/19 years ago, just happened to be driving past when I wore it for the 2nd time in almost that long?
I just LOVE it when shit like this happens!
