Uh... Wonderful?
April 6th - Wednesday - First Ultimate Frisbee Club meeting! It was awesome! There were about 20 people at first. It was just great. Mr. Clever named me Pocket Rocket... Pocket because of my relatively small stature and rocket because I ran around with constant energy. Hehe.
April 7th - Thursday - Another day normal day... I think.
April 8th - Friday - I had states practice today... other than that I think it was just another day.
April 9th - Saturday - Apples Foreign Language competition at IUP! I placed in everything:
French 3 Speaking Proficiency - 3rd place
French 3 Listening Comprehension - 3rd place
French 3 Reading Comprehension - 2nd place
French 3 Composition - 1st place
Vocal - 2nd place
Gah! I had the best french song and the best solo number, but as all levels and languages are judged together on non-academic subjects... I've been beaten for 2 years by a duet from Westmont on a different language! I'll have to really practice for next year. At least I knew one of the kids this year, so I was glad in that respect. Then I went to a small bonfire at Kachur's.
April 10th - Sunday - Governor's school auditions... I think I did pretty well... I drove a total of 5 hours to and from Harrisburg in my mom's car, and my muscles hurt when I was done. I came home and went to Brothers rehearsal in the evening... this was the time of chat #1.
April 11th - Monday - SAT scores were out today. Anyways, after school I found out Courtney's brother Landon died... so after BCC rehearsal, I took Katie Riley and myself to get cards and flowers and we went and saw her...
April 12th - Tuesday - Normal day to the best of my memory. Brothers rehearsal in the evening... this was the time of chats #'s 2 and 3.
April 13th - Wednesday - NY trip!!! Josh, Alysha, Allyson, Christian and I had fun yelling and singing "gooch" all day long while on the bus... hehe. We stopped at a mall in NJ, and played DDR at Allyson's and/or Christian's suggestion. Once we got to NY, I saw Phantom of the Opera and it was amazing. Simply, amazing. When we left the theater, we discovered that our bus had a big indentation on one side. The driver evidently took a turn too sharp and hit something. On the way home, all these New Yorkers were staring and laughing and making faces, and we were waving and going crazy and having a good time! We got home around 12:15 and didn't have to be in until 9, but as I had a headache since the intermission of the show that lasted through 2 different medicines... I decided to skip.
April 14th - Thursday - I skipped school. I went to bed around 12:45 AM and woke up at 1:45 PM. 15 hours, it was amazing. I got some stuff from school after it let out, then got my mom and later went to the viewing at Zion Lutheran.
April 15th - Friday - It was a half day. After school was a bit of frisbee, but then I left to go to Landon's funeral. Showstoppers sang. It was very solemn in a word. I felt so badly for the family, but glad at the same time. It was horrible the way he went, but he's gone someplace better. After dinner I went to the Brothers party for an hour and a half, then went to Allyson's DDR party. We went to the coffee shop later and then to Katie Barton's, and then I had Hutch spend the night.
April 16th - Saturday - I'm just glad I didn't have a job on this day, I probably would have lost it. So I woke up, took Hutch home, and was on my way to Brothers when my car broke down... AGAIN. Great. Nice evening beforehand, pleasant morning, ended with the collapse of a car. So Scott got me later, and we went to the coffee shop, then dropped off an application, ate at Wendy's and got Hutch, went home and got Lindsay, and went to Legion Park to play hide and go seek. After a bit we left and Lindsay went home. We then went to Scotty's for dinner and there we were joined by Alysha and Hutch. Afterwards we went to Legion and played tag... then went to Meadows, then went to my place to watch Ocean's 12! Ben Mingle and John Ross showed up, that was freaking awesome. Everyone was gone around 10:45. I did a bit of work, then retired to my room. Then I became single again... not by my doing this time. I went to sleep around 12:30 (well, I got in bed then) knowing I had to wake at 7.
April 17th - Sunday - Got out of bed at 8, and mowed the lawn. Then I went to Sunday School. Then I went to Showstoppers. Then I went to my piano lesson. Then I got food. Then I finished my piano composition. Then I updated.
