The microwave in my office went out in a blaze of glory this morning, before I got there. Nothing (else) caught fire, but it emitted a lot of smoke. Something inside must have reached its limit and burned. We've opened all the windows and doors, but it's still smelly, even halfway across the building. My lungs are surprisingly okay with this contamination of their air supply. Frankly, though, I like an excuse to let the wind blow through the building.
Still feeling a bit harried (thanks to the impending con, and the Samsonite design competition I should finish before then). Must...relax...but I don't know/where/what to do. Perhaps I am thinking too much again.
(Be glad to know that in the time it took for me to write this, the smoke stench dissipated to a point where I can barely smell it now.)
