I am writing from
marysia's house on her insistence.
This morning was full of plants. We went to a park, a small haven of forest growth in the middle of the city. Then we visited a conservatory, a "showy greenhouse" as she put it. I don't have much to say about it except it felt good to be in a place so full of growing things. I got to burn incense too, later, from the pretty Bast-decorated holder Marysia bought me for my birthday. It can take cone and stick incense. We tried the one labeled "spirit." Judging from this, I guess Spirit smells like spices. ^_^
And I just learned there is a distinct class in D&D called a duskblade which combines traits of fighters and arcane spellcasters. Had I known this before, Isilme may have been one with her background. But she is who she is: a young elf-woman with unusual innate gifts, who tried and failed to become a strong warrior. She once applied her arts toward clever trickery...now it is for battle. I have fallen behind in making the sorceress' diary entries. I want to catch up, for myself and my faithful readers. If you were eager to see what happened after my last D&D post, I'm sure enough time has passed to blunt anyone's enthusiasm. Or bury some of it.
...It took me far too long to write that paragraph.
