smallville

Smallville is my new obsession, thanks to the power of BitTorrent.

I just saw quite possibly the saddest funeral in televised history (next to that of Buffy's of course) and I will show up to work puffy-eyed in the morning. Any fans out there should know that the death happened in season 5, which was last season... but give me a break, I haven't lived in the States in like four years.

they used a really really sad Peter Gabriel song called "I Grieve" which makes me want to cry every time I hear it.... first time was in the City of Angels soundtrack when Meg Ryan dies. (that was sad too) (even though her character was kind of stupid) and then, years later, he put it on his UP album.

Did I dream this believe? Or did I believe this dream?

so now what I want to know is....

When did Peter Grabriel start letting TV shows use his songs?

I mean, when Say Anything used "In Your Eyes" it was the highest amount ever paid for a song in a movie. He used to be pretty picky. Sure, he has writen soundtracks and scores for movies before, but he doesn't go about willy-nilly lending out his tunes.

anyway, I will go to bed now.

RIP Jonathan Kent
