The End is Nigh
The other three Prineii are addicted to Sims.
We got the Sims game free with our computer, what, four years ago? This weekend, Theo popped it in and started playing. John stepped in to rescue the Sparrow family from raving lunacy and starvation and stayed up last night past midnight trying to get them settled. Now all three of them are working on it.
One of the Sparrows, the daughter (of Jack, of course) is named Dohjila, a character in the Prineii's favorite book of the year, Joseph Bruchac's Wabi: A Hero's Tale.
From the other room:
"...energy is low."
"Make her go."
"She's hungry! Look how hungry she is!"
"Make somebody pick up the trash."
"The mom, her bladder is fairly low, too."
"Gosh, there's flies. Somebody needs to clean that up."
"Make the dad clean up."
"Bladder!"
"Well, we didn't kill the family yet."
