I <3 Texas!

Yes! I finally FINALLY finished my emma essay, which means my UT app, the very last of my college apps, is DONE. The essay is kind of retarded though. I gave Schaack's speech on how our culture/experiences act as filters and distort our interpretation of the world. Then at the end, I talked about how white light is made of "all the colors of the rainbow," and we need to learn from people who are different to gain a wide array of perspectives, or filters, so we can become less biased and understand and appreciate EVERYONE! Yup, Mary-Sue-ness galore. I think it still has some continuity problems, but you know what, I don't care. I'm too lazy to work on it more, considering I get automatic acceptance. Thank you, Texas, for your 10% law. *glomps Texas* I'm actually thanking and glomping Texas, my evil nemesis. THAT's how happy and hyper I am right now.

Now all I have to do is get annoying immigration stuff done. Gah I'm so jealous of all you U.S. citizens. At least Texas lets me pay instate tuition and be counted for the 10% law as long as I've lived here for more than 3 years. *glomps Texas again* For other schools, I get to be quota-ed out because I'm an international student on top of being quota-ed out for being Asian. The only thing I have going for me in the admissions process is that I'm a girl. So, yay for my ... femaleness.

crazy, ut, colleges
