Why Asian people shouldn't drive
Yesterday, while I was driving home from school, I noticed a warning light on in the car. I didn't know what it was for so I called my mom. Because she wasn't at her desk and I couldn't reach her, I figured I'd tell her that night. But silly me, with zero short term memory, forgot to do that yesterday night. I only remembered again this morning when I saw the light again while I was driving to school. So I called again this morning and after I explained what happened, she basically yelled at me for five minutes for being irresponsible and not leaving a message the day before and not remembering the night before, and so on. I finally told her I'm hanging up if she has nothing useful to say because I'm in a hurry to get to school. Actually the real reason was I needed to concentrate on driving (and also I was pissed off), but she'd kill me if she knew I was driving and talking on a cell phone at the same time. Anyway, so that put me in a rather pissy mood this morning. Then I went to English and realized I completely forgot about an assignment (remember me? no short term memory?), which put me in a pissier mood. Then I had A lunch and Speech, which would depress anyone. And now I'm waiting for my mom to come home so she can finish her little diatribe. *sigh* How was your day?
